Heat Exchanger

In a cogeneration system such as a fuel cell system, which consists of a fuel cell unit and a hot water storage unit, the effective use and control of the heat generated has a significant impact on the efficiency of the entire system.
In SOFC systems, an important issue is to convert the heat energy (exotherm) generated simultaneously with the generation of electricity in the stack into the energy (heat absorption) required for steam generation, steam reforming reaction, and conversion of cold water into hot water, etc. without loss.
For this purpose, multiple heat exchangers are used in SOFC systems, and along with the efficiency of heat utilization as described above, downsizing is necessary to make the entire system compact.
