SOFC Coating

Magnex Co.,Ltd. joined “2010 subsidized manufacturing project for product development” and aimed to develop Solid Oxide Fuel Cell performance and reduce degradation. We succeeded in reducing contact resistance (ASR) of collecting material by Co-Ni coating.

Effect of the coating

• Suppression of Chromium evaporation (Prevention of Chromium poisoning)
• Maintaining of low ASR

Alloy electroplating such as Co-Ni

  ASR test result of test piece with Co-Ni coating and without coating. Succeed in reducing ASR and developing performance by coating.

  ASR Test Result *1,000hour

  ASR 1,000hour test result of test piece with Co-Ni coating. After 1,000h ASR remains low and this shows enhanced durability.
